Six Flags filed for bankruptcy this past weekend, according to the Washington Post.

Katy Farber over at Non-Toxic Kids wrote about how the toxic chemical BPA — found in many plastic toys and even baby bottles — is also in cans. Ladies’ Home Journal also had a blurb on it, recommending parents give their children fresh fruit rather than canned fruit.

Schoolchildren may be the first in the United States to receive the swine flu vaccine in the fall, according to the Associated Press. If the government opts for mass vaccinations, the kids would receive the shot at school.
